The JK was very local for POTOC members this year with the sprint at Loughborough University, the middle and long at Beaudesert and the relays at Stanton Moor.

The outstanding performance was Barbara Farr who dominated the W80 class on days 2 and 3 to be overall champion. She won day 2 by 8 minutes with 11 of the 13 fastest splits. She won day 3 by 9 minutes with 7 fastest splits, to give her the overall victory by 17 minutes ahead of Eleanor Pyrah.

Barbara has also got national recognition, being featured in the February 2024 edition of Compass Sport magazine, "Know your class leader". We are all very proud of Barbara's achievements.

Our other podium success was Eden Pigott, 3rd place in W14 at the Sprint, well done Eden!

Members who achieved top 10 overall: (days 2 & 3 combined)  Alex Evans 2nd, Judy Douglas 5th, Marian Denham 6th, Eden Pigott 6th, Peter Yoxall 6th, Henry Pigott 9th, Ianka Evans 9th, Martin Pigott 9th.

At the relays, we had 5 teams competing against very strong competition.

The 3 little pigs: Daniel Pigott, Henry Pigott & Eden Pigott came 5th in the Junior relay.

The 3 musketeers: Rob Holdway, Graham Pigott & Martin Pigott were 7th in Senior men.

The stooges: Andrew Rowe, Jon Whilock & Rich Pigott came 13th in Senior men.

The 3 billy goats gruff: Alex Evans, Lil Bales & Ianka Evans were 22nd on Men's short.

The 3 blind mice: Henry Morgan, Ryan Procter & Roberto Pirk da Silva came 34th on Men's short.
