Silverdale Permanent Course Instructions

MAP

The course on the map of the park shows the following:

The suggested Start marked by a purple triangle at the lake side.

There are 18 controls sites marked on the map with a purple circle, each labelled by a letter.

The table gives a description of what feature the control it lies on.

CONTROLS

Each control point on the ground is an existing wooden marker post. On the post is a Red & White orienteering marker. Each marker has the appropriate letter and also a code number.

STARTING

From the start navigate around the park visiting as many controls as you wish in any order.

As you approach a control read the description as a guide. At the control check the control letter on the post and then write down the code number.
