Central Forest Park

CENTRAL FOREST PARK
The park is located close to the city centre at Hanley.
The area is a restored coal mine and clay quarry. 2 hills, relics of the spoil heaps dominate the area. A third spoil heap was used to landscape over the quarry area. Much tree planting took place in 1980’s and these have matured and spread. Around one third of the park is now wooded. 
For novices and beginners. 14 controls are available to be visited in any order.
The 2 hills are avoided on this course.
